New results from the 2021 graduating class have been published.

The DZHW-Brief 03/25 addresses the adequacy of employment for graduates from the 2021 examination year. At the time of the survey (approx. 1.5 to 2.5 years after graduation), the vast majority of graduates consider themselves to be adequately employed. The certificates acquired during their studies can therefore be used on the labor market in the majority of cases and the level and tasks of the jobs are appropriate for their degrees.

There are differences in terms of gender, as women with a Bachelor's degree are more likely to be overqualified than men with a Bachelor's degree. The evaluations also make it clear that graduates are employed appropriately, especially when their job matches their field of study. However, graduates are less likely to find suitable employment in non-specialist positions at this early stage of entering the labor market.
